A word thrown about a lot but what actually is branding? Branding is simply just about connecting with all your stakeholders. Whether internal or external (customer, partners, vendors, non-customers, suppliers, etc), it’s using every element of your brand to reach out and connect with them on a relatable level.

Branding isn’t just a logo or tagline, it isn’t the colours of fonts you use. It’s also not just about what you post on social media, or what vision is. It’s a combination of the lot and more.

The entire branding process consists of a Brand Audit (to find out in-depth how all stakeholders currently perceive your brand), from there you build your Brand Strategy with the data collected. Only then you go into your visual identity and imagery that MUST reflect your brand strategy, and then with that, your marketing comes in.

Of course there are more things involved depending on the needs of the brand itself, for example Brand Architecture, Destination Branding, Employee Branding, and so on and so forth.
